FAITHFULNESS: I’ve given a great deal of thought to an accurate epitaph my wife could place on my tombstone and I’ve once wanted it to be, “He was a follower of God and Leader of men.”  After my many years in ministry, I told her to change it to, “Confused.” LOL. 

 I’ve simplified it to one I hope in the Lord will be true of my life, “Faithful” That’s it. I am amazed at the faithfulness of my Lord and the unfaithfulness of His people. I pastored 24 years before the Lord placed me in vocational evangelism back in January 2008 and I’ve seen a lot. Are you dependable and faithful to your assignment? Granted, there is nothing easy about staying faithful to what the Lord has called you to do but it is faithfulness that carries the greatest reward.

 I challenge you to be faithful to your calling, assignment, commitment and the work of the Lord. In due season, you will reap if you faint not. What if Jesus had not gone all the way to the cross? Much of what you are sowing today, may seem to be fruitless, will in due season be a great blessing in the Kingdom. Your work matters! You Matter! Don’t give up! Stay the course! Stay faithful. Let’s go!
