THE FRONT DOOR: The website is the front door to your church or ministry. It allows people to look inside and see what going on without any discomfort - accept for a poorly done website. Several thoughts: 1. Get a good website presence if you don’t have one (if you can keep it up) 2. Keep your website updated at least weekly or take it down. It’s better not to have one that to have one outdated – that may communicate your ministry is outdated 3. Provide the following elements on the front page (don’t bury them in the webpage): Service times, location & address, mailing address, contact numbers, staff info, Guest info, Pictures of the facilities, nursery info, children info, dress style, etc. (Put yourself in the place of a new comer when you look at your website - would it communicate what you would need to know?) 4. Remove your calendar if you don’t keep your special events on it. Take it down. 5. Always, post special events on the front if possible. 6. Place service time changes on the front page for the sake of guest and your members So much more but out of space
