STRESS: I believe most of the stress we experience is not derived from having so many things to do but from too many unfinished tasks. So, one great way to relieve some of your stress and put yourself into a position of rest is to take one task and finish it completely. Then move onto the next unfinished task and get it done. Each time you finish a task you will experience a sense of victory, accomplishment and achievement. An example: if you are reading five books narrow it down to one book and read the entire book then read the second one. What task can you complete today? Two important things to keep in mind when dealing with stress: prayer and delegation – these two can make a significant difference. Now go finish one your stressors and it will no longer be a stressor. YES! |
